6436 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «§لَوْ كَانَ لِابْنِ آدَمَ وَادِيَانِ مِنْ مَالٍ لاَبْتَغَى ثَالِثًا، وَلاَ يَمْلَأُ جَوْفَ ابْنِ آدَمَ إِلَّا التُّرَابُ، وَيَتُوبُ اللَّهُ عَلَى مَنْ تَابَ»

(واديان) أي ما يملؤهما وهو للمبالغة في الكثرة. (لابتغى) لطلب. (يملأ الجوف) كناية عن الموت فهو يستلزم الامتلاء فكأنه قال لا يشبع من الدنيا حتى يموت. وعليه تحمل العبارات في الأحاديث الآتية فالغرض منها واحد واختلافها تفنن في الكلام وبلاغة وفصاحة. والجوف البطن وخص بالذكر لأن المال أكثر ما يطلب لتحصيل المستلذات وأكثرها تكرارا الأكل والشرب. (يتوب الله) يعفو ويصفح ويوفق للطاعة. (من تاب) من المعصية ورجع عنها
